Topics
The topics of Doctoral Consortium papers are the same as of the ADBIS main conference topics
ADBIS DC Submisson Guidelines
The papers submitted to the ADBIS 2009 DC should adhere to the following requirements:
- The topic of the paper should conform to ADBIS main conference topics
- The submission should be single-authored
- The submission should be scientifically relevant
- The paper should be structured according to general principles of the structuring of scientific papers
- A clear description of research problem should be included in the paper
- Related works relevant to the research problem should be reviewed and compared with the author’s approach of searching for the solution of the problem
- Research method and preliminary results of research should be presented and the plan of further research proposed
- Current and expected final contribution of the research work in the field of data bases and information systems should be outlined.
- The length of the paper should be no less than 5 and no more than 9 pages
- The submission should be formatted according to Springer-Verlag requirements available at
http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-7-72376-0
- Papers are submitted in the .doc or .pdf format by the submission date at the ADBIS DC submission site:
http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=dcadbis2009
Procedure
- All DC submissions will be reviewed by at least two Doctoral Consortium (DC) Program Committee (PC) members.
- Authors of accepted papers will be invited to submit camera ready versions of their papers, where they have taken into consideration the DC PC feedback.
- Each camera ready paper will be reviewed by assigned DC PC member who will serve as a discussant of the paper at the DC session.
